What is weeWONDERBOX?

weeWONDERBOX is a series of events, that take place mainly in central Glasgow.

weeWONDERBOX is a collaboration between the Iona Community’s Programme team and the Wild Goose Resource Group.

You’ll find details of the Events Programme here.

What kind of events?

There are many formats and types of weeWONDERBOX events, such as regular liturgies/ services, discussion and reading groups, creative workshops, activist gatherings, wee sings, walks, pilgrimages, interviews, talks, presentations, book launches, concerts, ceilidhs, meetings for folk wanting to know more about the Iona Community’s concerns … basically anything that can be imagined.

Issues covered include faith and politics, culture, environment, technology, media issues, peace, justice, reconciliation, economics, human development … the huge range of glorious things in this glorious world, both serious and not so serious!

We hope to open up a range of ways for folk to get involved. Today, more than ever, it’s crucial that faithful folk are – and are seen to be – present and active in the public realm.
