Order of worship – Leader’s version, Assembly version
John L. Bell
WGRG liturgy booklet 3
A service of grieving and gratitude for those who have been recently bereft
A complete order of worship to enable people who have lost someone to share both grief and hope in public worship. Short reflections & new texts set to immediately recognisable and accessible hymn tunes. Much of the song material included is drawn from the other two titles, When Grief Is Raw (Book) and The Last Journey (CD), a collection of 17 songs by John L. Bell.
weeWONDERBOX’s flagship urban festival, ColumbaFest, returns to Glasgow city centre on June 8th-10th, 2018. Our theme: ‘Dreams & Visions’ … on what makes ‘prophecy’ today.
Expect live music and spoken word, workshops, walks, talks and worship led by a fantastically diverse group of contributors. See below for names and short descriptions by day. More to be confirmed soon.
Prophets often come from the margins, challenging our complacent worldview with a startling new perspective. We will be asking – where are the prophets today? What are they saying? And are we listening to them?
We will draw inspiration from the life of St Columba, the biblical prophets, and contemporary politics to challenge ourselves to engage with the most pressing issues of social justice in our society.
Come for a day, an evening, or for the entire weekend … details of Ticket Options here here (also includes Day and Evening only options). Do note, though, that prices via the link above and below are for online/ pre-event bookings only. On the day tickets will carry a £3 surcharge.
