  1. Rev, Dr. Doug Gay

This apparently modest volume has become a modern classic in English-language liturgy. Used by Anglican bishops and charismatic house groups and everyone in between, it’s recognisable Scottish roots have been no barrier to wide international usage. It offers vibrant, robust and poetic language within classic, ecumenical, liturgical shapes. While it is invaluable for clergy, it is crafted to allow and encourage the voices of lay people to share in leading worship. After more than a decade of using and experiencing it in diverse settings, I still find its liturgies fresh and evocative. Adaptable for use in congregations, house groups. home communions, church plants and retreats – I cannot recommend it highly enough as an aid to worship. Buy enough for the whole congregation! – REV DR DOUG GAY, Lecturer in Practical Theology, University of Glasgow.

  2. Dee Talley

‘As one who has purchased your “Wee Worship Books” in the last few incarnations, I would like to say “thank you,” you have changed the way I think about liturgy and worship in the congregation.’ – DEE TALLEY, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.

This little book is one I’d take to a desert island. I use it frequently, for intercessions, and inspiration, and give copies to friends being ordained. It says so much more than we can usually put into words – fresh and free, compelling and real.
