Listen to James Cathcart interviewing Craig Gardiner at last year’s ColumbaFest.

They discuss community, communitas, liminality and the importance of letting things go: “We say we believe in death and resurrection and yet we are terrified of death, of letting things go. but unless the seed falls to the ground it’s not going to germinate into something fresh.”

He also offers some advice to anyone feeling restless or frustrated in their local community, looking for a new sense of a common purpose.
