Welcome to the website of the Wild Goose Resource Group/ WGRG.

The Wild Goose Resource Group is a semi-autonomous project of the Iona Community, begun over 30 years ago by John L. Bell and the late Graham Maule, who died in December 2019.

At present the group has two Resource Workers, John L. Bell Jo Love, supported by administrator, Gail Ullrich, and frequently engages other professionals who work in associated areas.

WGRG is about liturgy and worship, music and song, prayer and politics, diversity and devotion, participation and perception, curiosity and creativity, with a particular emphasis towards the training of the laity. It exists to enable and equip congregations and clergy in the shaping and creation of new forms of contexted and relevant, participative worship… and a few other nefarious activities.
